The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that a portion of the airspace over Lake Michigan has been temporarily restricted due to national defense reasons.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has confirmed the implementation of these restrictions, which were put in place at around 11:00 AM. The FAA then released a statement, indicating that the airspace over Lake Michigan had been closed briefly to support Department of Defense activities but has since been reopened.
Flight restriction due to UFO?
NORAD also tweeted about the temporary flight restriction, stating that it was implemented to ensure the safety of air traffic in the area during their operations, which have since been lifted.
Despite requests, NORAD has not disclosed any further details regarding the nature of these operations. It is important to note that this comes after a similar temporary flight restriction was put in place over Montana the night before but was later lifted, according to NORAD.
The restriction was enacted after the detection of a “radar anomaly”, but after aircraft were sent to investigate the incident, nothing was found.
However
No officials have commented on why the sky was closed to traffic. The object whose video was released by Fox 3 is nothing more than another UFO. The footage shows that there is no weather balloon or anything similar in the sky above Lake Michigan. Watch the video and make your own conclusions:
